So well said, sister. Poetry is therapy. Succinctly expressed.
On a different note, Poetry was probably considered Haram in ancient times for the fear that sacrilegious ideas would be spread or sensual feelings expressed in writing, both of which are repulsive ideas in Islam. However, I personally don’t see that there’s anything *Haram* about writing beautiful poetry as you do 💖
And it’s quite ironic, considering how your side of the border boasts of wonderful Sufi poets and such extraordinary literary masters!

Here, they boast about Sufi poets (of whom I am a fan) and all internationally, but at schools they teach us “not to get ‘affected’ by the poetry”. I mean they are such hypocrites. They hate poetry here. 😔
But with people like you, and the poets who inspire me, are always there to motivate me! 💖
